X-rays use ionising radiation to obtain images of various parts of the body.

  • CHEST X-RAY
    A chest x-ray is a diagnostic imaging test used to evaluate chest structures like the heart, lungs, airways and bones. It is used to diagnose and monitor conditions like pneumonia, tuberculosis, lung cancer, heart failure and fractures.
  • LUMBAR SPINE X-RAY
    A lumbar spine x-ray is a diagnostic imaging test to evaluate the lower back’s bones. It is commonly used to diagnose conditions like degenerative disc disease, spinal fractures and osteoarthritis providing valuable information for healthcare providers to determine causes, assess spinal instability and plan appropriate treatment options.
  • HYSTEROSALPINGOGRAPHY
    HSG is a diagnostic procedure that evaluates the shape and patency of the uterus and fallopian tubes, often used to investigate female infertility and diagnose structural issues like uterine abnormalities and blockages in fallopian
    tubes.
  • T-TUBE CHOLANGIOGRAPHY
    A T-tube cholangiogram is a diagnostic procedure used to visualize bile ducts to examine for any abnormalities or blockages, using contrast dye and x-rays.
  • INTRAVENOUS PYELOGRAPHY
    IVP is a diagnostic imaging test that examines the urinary system, including kidneys, ureters and bladder. It uses contrast dye injected into a vein, filtered by kidneys, to detect abnormalities.
