IUDMC ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2025

IUDMC proudly held its 15th Annual General Assembly on July 28, 2025, highlighting a year of dynamic progress, innovation, and unwavering commitment to healthcare excellence. In his comprehensive President’s Report, Dr. Julius Ceasar U. Baysa detailed the institution’s accomplishments, strategic initiatives, and ongoing developments, reinforcing IUDMC’s dedication to patient-centered care and institutional advancement.
Among the year’s key milestones was the launching of the new 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit, the acquisition of a new C-Arm unit, and a state-of-the-art Mammography machine—all strengthening our diagnostic and imaging capabilities. The hospital also inaugurated the expanded Dialysis Unit at the 4th Floor, opened the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at the 6th Floor Annex Building, and completed the 3rd Floor Annex Building, improving patient flow and overall capacity. IUDMC also proudly reported an updated DOH-authorized bed capacity from 113 to 142 beds, alongside its successful DOH Accreditation and continued PhilHealth ABC Accreditation.
The newly constructed Histopathology Section has also been completed, further enhancing our laboratory and diagnostic services. As part of our spiritual care, IUDMC holds a Monthly Mass and Anointing of the Sick, nurturing the holistic well-being of patients, staff, and their families.
This year, we also celebrated the accreditation of our Animal Bite Center by both the DOH and PhilHealth, ensuring wider access to bite-related care. The construction of our upcoming facilities is nearing completion at 98%, with much anticipation for the opening of the Operating Room Complex at the 2nd Floor of the Annex Building, and a dedicated Chemotherapy Unit at the 7th Floor, aimed at expanding our specialty care services.
In support of workforce development and safety, IUDMC continues to conduct Regular Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training for new employees. We also proudly recognized the graduation of two staff members who completed their Master in Management, Major in Hospital Administration, reflecting the institution’s investment in leadership and excellence. In line with our cooperative growth, IUDMC welcomed six new stockholders, further strengthening the organization’s foundation and strategic vision.
With all these accomplishments, IUDMC stands proud and tall—driven by compassion, guided by purpose, and united in our mission to deliver outstanding and accessible healthcare. We extend our deepest gratitude to all our valued stockholders for their continued support, participation, and trust. Together, we move forward with excellence.
